As a Senior Admissions Consultant, Dr. Caroline Miller leverages her extensive background in elite academia and admissions to guide students through an increasingly competitive landscape. An exceptional writing specialist, she helps students distill complex concepts into compelling, authentic narratives. Her experience as a scholar, educator, and college athlete makes her an excellent mentor for students who balance high-level intellectual pursuits with demanding extracurricular commitments.

Prior to joining Spark, Dr. Miller evaluated applicants at highly selective institutions, including Princeton University. She has taught writing at the University of Michigan and top-tier college prep schools, where she earned multiple awards for teaching excellence and served on admissions committees. Drawing on this experience, she also advises families applying to selective private high schools, offering an insider’s perspective. Known for her encouraging approach, she helps students pursue ambitious goals while fostering a sense of discovery and excitement throughout the admissions process.

Dr. Miller graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, where she ran NCAA Division I varsity cross-country, and earned her PhD from the University of Michigan. She enjoys crosswords, reading, and spending time with her family.
