EEA/UK/Switzerland Privacy Notice
This EEA/UK/Switzerland Privacy Notice (“Notice”) explains how Spark Admissions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) processes personal data of individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom (“UK”), and Switzerland (together, the “Designated Countries”).
This Notice supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to individuals in the Designated Countries (“European Residents”).
This Notice applies only to European Residents whose personal information is collected while they are physically located in a Designated Country. We may determine your location using your IP address or other technical signals. If you mask your location, we may not be able to apply the protections outlined in this Notice.
If any part of this Notice conflicts with other sections of our Privacy Policy, this Notice governs for users in the Designated Countries.
Under applicable data protection laws (such as the GDPR and UK GDPR), we may act as a data controller, meaning we determine the purposes and means of processing your personal information. In some cases, we may act as a processor on behalf of another organization.
We process your personal data only when there is a lawful basis to do so, including:
Consent – Where you have given clear permission for us to process your personal data.
Contract – When processing is necessary to fulfill a contract with you.
Legal obligation – Where we must comply with a legal duty.
Legitimate interests – Where we have a business reason to use your data, and those interests are not overridden by your rights.
Where we rely on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
We will only send marketing emails or SMS to European Residents with your prior consent or where legally permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our messages or by contacting us at [email protected].
If you are located in a Designated Country, you have the following rights:
Right to Access – You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Rectification – You can request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to Erasure – You can ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
Right to Restrict Processing – You may request a halt to processing under certain conditions.
Right to Object – You can object to our processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
Right to Data Portability – You may request your data in a machine-readable format and transfer it to another controller.
Right to Withdraw Consent – You may withdraw your consent at any time if we rely on it for processing.
To exercise any of these rights, please email us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
We are based in the United States. If you are in a Designated Country, your personal data may be transferred outside your country, including to the United States.
We take appropriate safeguards to protect your data, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other approved legal mechanisms, where required.
If you have questions or concerns about how we process your personal data, or if you wish to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority:
We will seek your express consent before collecting or processing your personal data when required by law. This includes any situations involving optional forms, email sign-ups, or promotional activities that collect personal data from users in the Designated Countries.
