Lindsay Cohen of Spark Admissions

Senior College Admissions Consultant
Director of Professional Development

As a senior admissions consultant, Dr. Cohen works with students to develop their academic skills, expand their extracurricular interests, and attain admission to their top-choice schools.

Before joining Spark Admissions, Dr. Cohen served on the faculty at Harvard University, where she taught in the History and Literature concentration and in the Harvard Writing Program. As a writing instructor, she taught first-year and advanced undergraduate seminars and worked one-on-one with students to improve their writing skills and essays. This experience, along with her work as a college admissions coach, makes her uniquely equipped to help students organize, develop, and revise their college applications and essays.

After working in the Tufts University admissions office and as an alumni interviewer, she understands the process through which schools assess applicants. This knowledge allows her to guide students through the process of building their own unique stories, submitting stellar applications, and finding the best-fit colleges for them.

Dr. Cohen was a Crown Fellow at Brandeis University, where she earned her master’s degree and doctorate in American history. She lives in Needham, MA, with her three sons and husband, a realtor.
