Justin Fahey

Justin Fahey brings over a decade of experience in college admissions and college admissions
consulting to his role as a senior college admissions consultant. His passion for mentoring, advising,
and supporting students enables him to build strong relationships with Spark’s clients during the
college preparation and application process. He is an expert at assisting them in developing their
interests, building their resumes, and honing their leadership skills. Most of all, Justin has helped his
students get into their top-choice colleges, including Ivy League and other highly selective
universities, by working with them to craft strong narratives and flawless, unique applications.

Prior to Spark, Justin served as Associate Dean of Admissions at Bowdoin College and then Senior
Associate Dean of Admissions and Director of Strategic Planning at Bates College. Having
interviewed hundreds of high school students and reviewed thousands of applications, Justin
understands what highly selective colleges are seeking in their applicants. Justin applies this
knowledge by equipping students with the tools they need to prepare for the college process and
submit applications that will impress admissions officers.

Justin has a bachelor’s degree from Colby College and a master’s degree in education from Johns
Hopkins University, and he is a Teach For America alumnus. When not at work, Justin spends time
outdoors with his wife, two daughters, and their golden retriever.
