Kelly Hedgspeth Howard

An experienced admissions professional, Kelly Hedgspeth Howard brings insights from years of evaluating applications at highly selective institutions. Ms. Hedgspeth Howard partners closely with students to identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and shape those into compelling application narratives. Her background in adolescent cognitive development informs how she builds students’ confidence and guides them in strategic, personalized ways.

Before joining Spark Admissions, Ms. Hedgspeth Howard worked in admissions at multiple universities, most recently at Boston University. She also worked as an Associate Director of College Counseling at top private schools. She knows firsthand how admissions officers read an application and how to help students stand out in a highly competitive process.

Ms. Hedgspeth Howard has a master’s degree from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. She enjoys riding her Peloton, attending live concerts and theater, and hiking with her husband and Golden Retriever in Los Angeles.
