Previously, Ms. VanderWyst worked in admissions at the University of California, Berkeley, gaining an insider’s view of what competitive colleges seek in academic records, essays, and extracurricular achievement. She also has extensive experience advising students on academic planning, application strategy, and the development of cohesive and compelling application materials.
Ms. VanderWyst earned her MA and BA from the University of Southern California. Outside of her work with students, she enjoys skiing and hiking with her family.
