We were so lucky to find Spark Admissions. After my daughter learned of Spark, we researched and met our consultant. First, they have a very welcoming, supportive style that immediately puts you and your student at full ease. In addition to coaching our daughter, they are also amazing at "coaching" parents while not taking away control and authorship from students. That is a fine balance, and our consultant threaded the needle extraordinarily well. Most importantly, they were instrumental in my daughter's application "journey." They were beyond expert at iterating with my daughter to arrive at a strategy and thematic story of her own journey that was completely authentic - teased out from her in a really gifted way. This enabled her to complete her personal essay and all of her supplemental essays with an authentic voice because it was all real and not manufactured. And of course, Spark did all of the application and essay review, making editorial suggestions that were hers to take or ignore. In the end, her applications really sang her story, and she was accepted at her dream school and many more. We were so satisfied with our consultant that we also engaged him to work with our son on his transfer applications. (We did not use Spark on his first go-round.) He had the same experience with Spark as my daughter, though they are very different people. We now are seeing his acceptances, and like my daughter, he is being accepted to dream schools.
